Anything She Can Do. . .

Not to be outdone by his little sister, Brayden revealed this week that he too can sit up. But. . .he doesn't stay that way very long. He would much rather be rolling around on the floor trying to crawl or going crazy in his Jumperoo.

Look Mom, No Hands!

Makenzie can finally sit up all by herself!

She has such a cute smile, but it's hard to get a picture that way. She is always so curious and as soon as the camera comes out she stops smiling and just stares at it. I think the flash startles her as well, as you can see in the "deer in headlights" picture below.

7 Month Surprise

Brayden and Makenzie are exactly 7 months old today. And Makenzie had a birthday surpirse for me. . .her first tooth! She likes to put everything in her mouth, including other people's fingers. This morning she grabbed mine, clamped down and I felt something sharp. She'll be chewing steak in no time. :)

Group Hug

I was telling my friend Tina about this picture and she said I should post it. It is one of my favorite snapshots. My sister, Sonya, is holding Brayden when he was just one month old. Her daughter, Ember, decided she wanted in on the hug. Too cute!

Something Else to Chew On

Makenzie loves to suck on her toes. She can lay like this and stay entertained for a good 30 minutes.

Brayden, on the other hand is in constant motion. And now he is starting to creep backwards. He is going to be a handful when he figures out how to crawl!
